Katra or popularly known as KatraVaishno Devi is a small town situated in the Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir. This beautiful town marks its glory on the foothills of the Trikuta Mountains. For pilgrims, it serves as the base for the famous shrine of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi. The shrine can be reached on foot along a 13 km long footpath.

Baba Dhansar

Shivakori or Shiva’s Cave is a beautiful natural cave which is around 200 meters long, one metre wide and around three metres high. The cave showcases a naturally built lingam. Shivkori is located in the Reasi district which is around 140 km north of Jammu and 80 km from Katra. Annually, this shrine along with a number of others in the vicinity attracts thousands of devotees. To reach Shivkhori, one needs to travel for about 3 km on foot.
